ANTV, National Assembly Television was a Venezuelan state television channel that broadcasted from its headquarters in Caracas. The channel was owned by the Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information and operated by the National Assembly of Venezuela. It provided viewers with news, entertainment, sports, educational programs and more.

The main purpose of ANTV was to inform citizens about the activities of the National Assembly as well as other important events happening in Venezuela. This included coverage on political debates, legislative sessions and international conferences held in Venezuela. In addition to this, it also featured cultural programming such as documentaries about Venezuelan culture and history as well as music shows featuring local artists.

ANTV had a wide reach across Latin America due to its satellite transmissions which allowed people from all over Latin America to watch live TV streams without having access to cable or satellite services. This made it one of the most popular channels among Venezuelans living abroad who wanted to stay up-to-date with what is going on back home.

Unfortunately ANTV ceased operations in 2016 after President Maduro decided not renewing its license citing financial reasons but also claiming that it did not meet his standards for quality content production anymore. Since then many Venezuelans have been missing their beloved national TV station which brought them closer together through shared experiences regardless of their political views or geographical location within the country
